We have a few announcements we would like to share regarding upcoming events we have planned; we would like all of your participation in order to make these a success.

We have a Volunteer Informational planned for this Sunday, December 20th, 2020 at 3pm via Google Meet. We have a number of committees and we would like to take time to answer any questions you may have and assist in placing those who would like to volunteer in the appropriate committee to begin working. Meeting details are below and we will be sending reminders throughout the week via email and our social media channels. We hope to see all of you in attendance!

Please add this meeting notice to your calendar https://calendar.google.com/event?action=TEMPLATE&tmeid=M2cwNjdqamtwcWxlY2hkbjBhbHJwMGxobW8gY29udGFjdEBtaWp1c3RpY2Uub3Jn&tmsrc=contact%40mijustice.org

MJA would like to start a campaign shedding light on the current handling of the pandemic within the facilities. Many of our loves ones have been drastically impacted by the way MDOC is handling COVID-19 in the facilities, we wanted to provide a platform for Incarcerated citizens and their families to give a video submission voicing their concerns regarding COVID in the Michigan prisons and how it is affecting you and your loved one. We will be taking submissions from Tuesday, December 15, 2020 until Saturday, December 26th, 2020; the guidelines are attached and we ask that families keep videos to 1 minute or less. Please also complete the media release form and submit it back to us, this give us permission to circulate your videos through this campaign effort

Please submit videos to our dropbox here.

We look forward to seeing you all at our Informational and viewing your video submissions. Thank you once again for your support of Michigan Justice Advocacy and continuing to spread the word to other prospective supporters!

Stay Safe!
